If indeed Don Quixote is insane, how would you rate Sancho Panza?

sara oberio mwf 11-12. for me i rank him to the first rank of craziest person in the wold because he make himself as a knight errants,and he think that a windmill is his great enemy.he became like a crazy because he love to read books,talks about adventures.don quijote story is a comedy.
I think sancho panza is the most understanding friend one would envy because he had understand what don quixote had been experiencing that time to the extend that he let himself to be the don's follower to guide and correct him.

MWF5-6 In my own understanding, Sancho Panza is simple peasant who follows Don Quixote out of greed, curiosity, and loyalty, so, probably I would rate him not as crazy/insane as that of Don Quixote. Moreover, for me just comes across as the character with the most assorted perspective and with the most wisdom. Sancho is truly ignorant, illiterate, cowardly, and foolish, he however proves himself a wise and just ruler, a better governor than the educated, wealthy, and aristocratic Duke.

I think they are both insane... Because if Don Quixote is insane then Sancho Panza who always follow him would be become insane too.... though Sancho Panza is trying his best to guide his crazy master but his efforts are useless because Don Quixote doesn't listen to him.
I will rank Sancho Panza as a victim of insanity and fooler than Don Quixote. Just add more twist to Don Quixotes words and I could say they are really best friends. Evidence is clear, words are powerful and could be exaggerated. So, one must not listen to some of Don Quixote around because playing a role of Sancho Panza is not easy.
I rank Sancho Panza as a crazy man because if he is in his mind why he follow the deeds of an insane person. Although, I can sense that he is understanding especially in the case of Don Quixote.
I think sancho panzo is a trusthworthy man. Because he knows that don quixote is insane but still he never betray don quixote. Instead he's been a good friend to him.
Actually,I really find Don Quixote and Sancho Panza as insane individuals. Sancho for me is much insane than his approximate other (Don Quixote) because he follows what Don Quixote's plan which he know from the start is not true. In my own perception following a foolish person had no difference on the follower. On the brighter side,Sancho is really a good companion and I guess that is the best thing about him.
Sancho Panza is not insane like Don Quixote. In fact, he is just a simple farm boy who is convinced by Don Quixote to go with him as his squire or a knight attendant.
I don't consider Sancho Panza as an insane person.For me he is the most understanding friend that Don Quixote had.Because even if he know that don Quixote is insane he didn't leave him but instead he supported him in his battles except the battle of the Don againt's the windmill.

In my own point of view, I would rate Sancho Panza not as crazy as Don Quixote. Sancho may be a lil' crazy but proves himself in the story by becoming a better governor than the educated, wealthy, and aristocratic Duke.
I think Sancho Panza was convince by Don Quixote through his poetic words of promise that he would give him a large kingdom that he must rule, because of his ignorance that's why he follow Don Quixote. I would rate him as a person who is willing to do all things just for the sake of what he want.

Sancho Panza is insane next to Don Quixote but not that quite because unlike the latter he still have the vision of the real world in which he even tried to stop him of his crazy adventures.I think that the only reason why he went with Don Quixote was the latter's promise that he would make him as a governor of the islands if ever they'll win a kingdom.
My comment for that is, Sancho Panza isn't insane. Sancho is illiterate but by influence of his new master he develops considerable knowledge about some books. Sancho obediently follows his master, despite being sometimes puzzled by Quijote's actions. He helps Quixote get out of various conflicts while looking forward to rewards of aventura that Quijote tells him of.
He only follows Don Quixote out of his curiosity and innocence. Then he must have really enjoyed with the adventure.
Sancho Panza is a great friend of Don Quixote. He become insane too, because he chose to act like insane with Don Quixote and doing things not normal to us. But as what i'd say to last question i'd answered. "We can learn a lesson of this story". those two insane represent two different characters. A courageous man who never stop reaching his star and a true good friend who never leave his friends in any adventure in their lives come. even acting like a weird. lol^_^
Sancho Panza is not insane? crazy. He is the bestfriend of Don Quixote and he's the companion in his journey. He only follows Don Quixote's madness, curiosity and fantacies. Actually he humanizes the story, bringing dignity and poise, but also humor and compassion.
As what I have understand, Sancho Panza is not that insane because he already knew that Don Quixote needs to be not taken for granted by other people. So probably, he just being loyal to his friend and understand what Don Quixote needed the most courage, support, and a friend whom he can lean on. That is why Sancho Panza follows what Don Quixote wanted, even though that would not be successful and end up with nothing or somewhat senseless.
I would ranked Sancho Panza as an quite insane person because if he is in the right thought he would not join the crazy adventures of Don Quixote.Yet, i also consider him as a partly sane person because he joined Don Quixote out of ignorance and curiosity of what lies to Don Quixote's adventures.

Don Quixote indeed insane, I would rather rate Sancho Panza also insane because he knows already Don Quixote adventure have useless or only the fruits of imagination from his readings in fictions stories he still following it to show his loyal to a friend.

As what has been said when a person believes to an insane person,he is also an insane. Don quixote on his journey on every adventure he had is really interesting story to read. But Don Quixote had no happy ending. But i really appreciate the loyalty of his servant Sancho Panza to all the things he did to Don Quixote. Sancho Panza is not that insane as what Don Quixote is, yes, its true that Sancho is just a peasant but behind that life he had hides a good personality that really best describe him as a wise man, a ruler and a better fighter than the king he served.
Indeed, Don Quixote is insane, but Sancho Panza is more insane than his master. If Don Quixote is 70% insane, Sancho Panza is 90% insane.. hehe!! Because even if he tries to guide and follow his master but he has more crazily experience because he tries to understand Don Quixote, but Don Quixote doesn't listen to him and don't care his approaches...

I think he is partly but I rather say also not in the way that he was just fun of the Don Quixote's words and loyal to him.But if I do believe that Quixote was insane he was also because he believed to what he owe to be like his master Quixote.
I rank Sancho Panza as an ADVENTURESS an a very good friend indeed, I believed he just hanged with Don Quitoxe just to have some fun cause Don Quitoxe was the only person their who knows to be CRAZY (literally) at that time. Panza was not a "kill joy" for a person that believed in something that was not real, Sancho Panza is an intelligent person who knows how to act like a fool in front of a fool who acts to be intelligent.^-^
If indeed, I could say that Sancho Panza is not on a situation parallel to Don Quixote for being insane.Sancho Panza is just a great friend who follows the orders of Don Quixote without any questions for he had understand his situation.
Don Quixote was really insane. For me, I can rank Sancho Panza still an insane man in his part because as what he is after for is only to own an island whom Don Quixote promised to him. He was a poor farmer who becomes Don Quixote's squire, believing that all promises would come true.

In my own opinion i think Sancho is not that so insane , in fact he is a good friend, because he support Don Quijote and guides him as well, there are some instances that because of our dreams in life , in trying to portrait it as we already have them peoples sometimes misinterpret us , sometimes we forgot to limit ourselves ,we just aim to achieve it without knowing that we are experiencing a craziest move that even others do not understand us .

I can say that Sancho Panza becomes more idealistic his conception or representation of things in their ideal form as against their reality, I think he has a concept similar with Don Quixoti as Sancho Panza stands for the real life that is influence by his ideal Don Quixoti. Sancho Panza can be best described as a realist because of the fact of his practicality and cleverness character towards life which quite opposite with his master Don Quixote which makes the two of them quite a good pair. They are like yin and yang or fire and water. And together they learn continually towards their way of life and how they respond to it and the possible risk of their actions.

I can say that he was a "sidekick" that lot of people said, obediently follows his master despite being sometimes puzzled by Don Quixote. They said that if you followed the insane man did you are more insane but Sancho Panza is not. He is wise just rules and help out the conflicts of his master because he was looking forward to rewards of don quixote tells him off. Then he only seeks for his comfort on his life.

Kimberly C. Magaway MWF 8:00-9:00 Sancho Panza was a farm boy before Don Quixote asked him to be his squire. He considered him as his master that is why what he [Don Quixote] believes will also he his. It was not due to insanity brought him to believe Don Quixote but rather ignorance [since he was poor and most probably uneducated]. Though he may not be insane or foolish, there are still chances of him becoming one. He may acquire Don Quixote’s ideals that will soon comprise the reality he is picturing. One’s ignorance can be overcome with the environment he/she is in. Since Don Quixote was somewhat insane then there is a great possibility that he could be like him.
A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked. This is what Sancho has to remind me and I would say he is not insane. Life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose. It was Sancho's choice indeed.

I would rate him next to Don Quixote. Because if Don Quixote is insane and he still follows him allong with Don Quixote's crazy adventures he could have been affected by Quixote's craziness. But he is still a good friend of Don Quixote for me, because he never left him despite all his crazy adventures. He never left his side.

Sancho Panza was just too overwhelmed by Don Quixote's adventures. You see he is illeterate. He is sane. But he was too engrossed with Don Quixote's adventure that he set aside his sanity for the sake of the adventures he wanted to experience ever since.

Sancho Panza is indeed an insane man to. His level is the same with Don Quixote. I believe that he is commonly thinking crazy thing that rare not true to reality.

In my own opinion, Sancho Panza is a nice and an understanding friend. In terms of rating him, I would say that he is second to Don Quixote as one of the insane individuals I've known in the World Literature discussion. He already knew about Don Quixote's situation and yet he continued on supporting him. I can say that he's a martyr insane friend that Don Quixote have.

My comment for that is, Sancho Panza isn't insane. Sancho is illiterate but by influence of his new master he develops considerable knowledge about some books. Sancho obediently follows his master, despite being sometimes puzzled by Quijote's actions. He helps Quixote get out of various conflicts while looking forward to rewards of aventura that Quijote tells him of.
He only follows Don Quixote out of his curiosity and innocence. Then he must have really enjoyed with the adventure.

If indeed Don Quixote is insane, Sancho Panza is also insane for he believes on what an insane man is saying. If Sancho Panza is not insane he must think or decide on his own and do not depend or believe on Don Quixote. If Sancho Panza is on his right state of mind he must not have done those crazy things together with Don Quixote and he must not have gone with Don Quixote’s adventures and dreamed of becoming a king.

Sancho Panza has an intelligent mind and he bear a realistic characteristic, what he sees would be the real one. He’s not fun of making imaginative creature out of the things he sees in the environment unlike Don Quixote.

Sancho Panza was a farm boy before Don Quixote asked him to be his squire. He considered him as his master that is why what he [Don Quixote] believes will also he his. It was not due to insanity brought him to believe Don Quixote but rather ignorance [since he was poor and most probably uneducated]. Though he may not be insane or foolish, there are still chances of him becoming one. He may acquire Don Quixote’s ideals that will soon comprise the reality he is picturing. One’s ignorance can be overcome with the environment he/she is in. Since Don Quixote was somewhat insane then there is a great possibility that he could be like him.

A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked. This is what Sancho has to remind me and I would say he is not insane. Life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose. It was Sancho's choice indeed.
For me he is insane of reading books thats why it drives his mind to the adventures he was read

If i were to rate sancho panza, he is just like with don quixote. Because even if he know by himself that don quixote is not doing the right thing, still he agreed to go with him.

Sancho Panza would be a little bit insane too. Because if he's in good state of mind he wont go with Don Quixote on his adventures after knowing that his master is in insanity mode, he wont believe on his promise on making him a governor of an island.

In my own opinion, Sancho Panza is not as insane Don Quixote. The crazy thing is, he keeps on following Don Quixote even if he knows that it will never listen to him.

I can rate sanchzo panza as a victim of being insane of don quixote, and also a little bit crazy man. because as what the story tell he believed some of what don quixotes telling to him and for me some of those were impossible to be granted.

I would rate him next to Don Quixote. Because if Don Quixote is insane and he still follows him allong with Don Quixote's crazy adventures he could have been affected by Quixote's craziness. But he is still a good friend of Don Quixote for me, because he never left him despite all his crazy adventures. He never left his side.

Don Quijote is insane so therefore Sancho panza is same as he is. from 1-10 where ten is the craziest person i would rank him 10/10. for what he had shown on the story, they are not acting in a manly manner.
Sancho Panza was just too overwhelmed by Don Quixote's adventures. You see he is illeterate. He is sane. But he was too engrossed with Don Quixote's adventure that he set aside his sanity for the sake of the adventures he wanted to experience ever since.
As what I've understand, I rate Sancho Panza as an insane man and more crazy than Don Quixote. Because he is ignorant and he easily believed an go with an insane man (Don Quixote).

I understand that Sancho Panza is a good friend of Don Quixote, but if I would describe him I can say that he more crazier than Don Quixote because if you're really a true friend you would look at the mistake/s or his/her wrong action/s,as a friend you should be concerned to each other and you will not let your friend suffer to any consequences of his/her action/s.

i don't think he was insane because he was an innocent boy who was unaware of the world and he believed that don quixote could help him realize his goals so he was following the old man's will.

well, what can I say...in any way sancho panza is insane because he keeps on followinh his master which is mentaly retarded in that way he can be as crazy as the one he is following. But I also appreciate the fact that he is a great companion and a friend for being so understanding with that of Don Quixote.

In my own opinion, Sancho Panza is a nice and an understanding friend. In terms of rating him, I would say that he is second to Don Quixote as one of the insane individuals I've known in the World Literature discussion. He already knew about Don Quixote's situation and yet he continued on supporting him. I can say that he's a martyr insane friend that Don Quixote have.
