Yes,I consider Don Quixote as an insane man because he believed everything that is written in every book he have read.It fascinates him, novels are not true but he wants to experience everything he have read but it doesn't happen in true life, but he still go on with his journey. And on one of what he call adventures, when he is fighting the windmills. He said it was a monster but he hurt himself for that craziness.

For me, psychologically speaking he is indeed as insane person but his story implies that he just dreamed for a sense of purpose and beauty—two things he believes the world lacks—and hopes to bring order to an unruly world by bringing back the noble code of the knights-errant.But initially, Don Quixote’s good intentions do only harm to those he meets, since he is largely unable to see the world as it really is.Thus, Sancho also made a great effort to make him distinguished between reality and pictures in his head.

Oh Yeah!!! Don Quixote is totally, Unquestionably insane...
Because he keeps on imagining stuffs that are not in reality. Due to his addiction in reading stories about adventures he forgot his real identity. though his insaneness makes him funny.

Yes, no doubt he is really insane. How do we call someone who seems to make impossible things possible? He is so addict to his books and even live his life to it and stick to it. He is not okay. frustrated hero, desperate lover,if you will really seriously read his story you would probably end up finding yourself almost ill.

Yes,he is totally insane because he is out of his mind of doing some unnecessary things and acting as a hero that saves the needy one despite of the reality that he looks like so needy, imagine fighting the windmills and the giant man that it can lead to his own downfall.
Lamoste, Chielo P.

Undeniably, I considered him as an insane. Its not only because he fought the windmills which is a sane one doesn't usually do,but because he let those books (which i guess that would be a fiction kind, full of imaginary adventures) controls him making him escape on the reality.

For me I can Consider Don Quixote an insane man because he believes their every word to be true, despite the fact that many of events in them are clearly impossible. We can consider Don Quixote as an insane man because he is applying to reality the things that he had read in his books. His books about adventures influenced him to think and look life as an adventure here and there. And his obsession in reading books gives a big part in making him an insane man.
I can consider Don Quixote as an insane person. The reason that he did things that are in reality not happening and doing things that are crazy as being considered.

It is no question to me that Don Quixote is an insane man.The fact alone that he decided to be a knight of his own adventure implies that he has this "not so normal" character. He is able to make normal things to fantasy ones which seems to me that he's just hallucinating and that his mind works not like that of a normal person nor I can consider it as creativity.

Well, i can say that he came out to be insane and later became really insane because of his obsession with his books of chivalry, and believes their every word to be true, despite the fact that many of the events in them are clearly impossible. So Don Quixote eventually appears to other people to have lost his mind from little sleep and food and because of so much reading.

i consider him insane simply because no person are still in a good thought on attacking a windmill because he saw it as a monster which is an enemy. But in a deep sense he just became like that because of his addiction of reading books.

Yes, I may consider that Don Quixote is insane. That is because he reads a lot of novels and he apllies the unbelievable things in his real life that makes him out of the world. He thinks of fantastic things. Just like the windmill that they encountered. She thinks of it as an enemy, a giant enemy. Not knowing that it is mere windmill. Now Don Quixote’s character serves as a warning that even the most intelligent and otherwise practically minded person can fall victim to his own foolishness
Bahalla, E. S.

Based on Don Quixote's Journey, I would consider him as an insane man in the sense that he acts like an idiot and makes his life more complicated. These because he's trying to do such ordinary things to make himself a good person and a brave fighter, not thinking that he can hurt anyone and even himself too. And in the eyes of others he would look like an exaggerated kind of person whom makes him more crazy and totally insane.

Yes, I consider Don Quixote as an insane person because as he became fascinated of reading books about knights and their adventures, he decided to become a knight and searched for his own adventures; adventures that are very out of this world. In the times when he spent most of his time reading this kind of books, he experienced spasm, an any sudden or convulsive action or effort, as of the body, mind, or nature this is because he almost forgot to eat on time and he doesn't have enough rest.

Yes,I can consider him as an insane man because everything that is written in the book that he read,he just easy to believe the story and imagining the event and done it with himself,.
- As what I comprehend in this story I will say that Don Quixote was insane because he is hallucinating a windmill into his enemy monsters which is not true.He is not incontact with reality maybe because this brought about by his age.

Don Quixote is not an insane man. He was just being addicted reading books and so he forget to eat. which his body cannot sustain the nutrients he needed he became weak and got insane. the content of the books have great impact to us. it will made us realize how thons go htrough. haha!! As what I've heard from the reporter of my classmate, Don Quixote is absolutely an insane because of what he have done based on the story.. And as what I've understand, he is an insane because he tries to believe what was written in the books he have read..Maybe by reading his books all day (he is addicted reading books) it makes him crazy..But he is also a funny person, while reading his story I truly laugh in naming his ladylove and his pet.

I can consider Don Quixote as an insane man because his imaginations were beyond reality. His attitude is most likely a child who wants to become of what he saw and read in the books. If he is still a child, maybe I can consider it as a normal, but in that age of him, it is funny that he will do the same of what he read in books. I think, no normal person would do of what he had read in the books because those stories were only a product of imagination of the authors.

If you will compare Don Quixote to other ordinary people, yes, you can say that he is really insane. But if you will only look deeply, you can say that he has only wide imagination and has great admiration of what nature has... This characteristic of him makes him insane in the eyes of people who read his adventure.
Yes! I would say that Don Quixote is insane because of what he had actuated based on the story. All those things that he had actuated I think is not a proper doing of a normal person. But, on the otherhand, I think this is just brouht to him by his too much reading of books which drown him in the world of fantasy.

for me NO. Don Quixote is just obsessed of what he had read from the books about the knights and their adventures. he spent alot of time reading those different books and decided to become a knight. the adventure of Don Quixote especially what had happened in the windmills was caused by his imaginations and obsession about being a knight and not because of insanity..

At some point of his character, yes, he is kind of an insane man refusing to believe his sequel, Sancho Panza, who advises him that the windmill isn’t a monster at all. He, instead, insisted that it was a gigantic monster trying to challenge him. In such a way that made me concluded he is insane by his actions of resisting the truth which only characterize an insane person. He is just like Satan who keeps on resisting an inevitable truth that he can never defeat the Almighty God but still he is fighting God’s will and plans. He had let his illusions and fantasies rule out his mind that leads him to insanity.

It's hard to open your eyes if your dreams are sweet, right? But a friend of mind ones said that sometimes it's a must to wake up because it's the only way to see reality.
In the place of Don Quixote, for me I considered him as an insane man because he is fun of creating dream-like adventures, in which for me are too far compared to the real adventure in a man's life.
Although perhaps, Alonzo Quijano, who rename himself as Don Quixote, perhaps have a good intention why he decides to become an actual knight errant, mimicking the adventures of heroes in his beloved books about chivalry, like helping the weaker persons, conquering lands for his squire, and proving to Dulcinea, his lady love, that love conquers all and that his love is true. But for me he is extremely foolish and his reasons are also foolish! And thus I'm glad that in the end Don Quixote's dream-like adventures returns himself to sanity and reality and reclaims his former name and identity.

Yes, Don Quixote can be considered an insane man.
He was a wide reader and so involved with what he was reading, intermingling reality with his imagination. To charge a windmill for believing it was a giant conspiring with some evildoer no doubt manifests an act triggered by insanity. To do such will not leave a deception entailing imaginativeness for it was plainly foolish. He was somehow schizophrenic.

Insanity comes in two basic varieties: slow and fast. Viscosity and Velocity are opposites, yet they can look the same. Viscosity causes the stillness of disinclination; Velocity causes the stillness of fascination. An observer can’t tell if a person is silent and still because inner life has stalled, or because inner life is transfixingly busy. While sanity is a madness put to good uses.Inasmuch, Don Quixote is not insane. Yes, he was absolutely insane because because he keeps on imagining stuffs that are not in reality and he acts like an idiot and makes his life more complicated. These because he's trying to do such ordinary things to make himself a good person and a brave fighter, not thinking that he can hurt anyone and even himself too.

Yes, i really consider Don Quijote as an insane man, because of his adventures who doesn't even have any sense. He looks like a crazy man who is trying to be a hero by fighting the windmills and being hurt..and it is just because he also wants to be like the hero in the novel he is reading...

Because he just died and then resurrect again, that would be very insane, I myself don't believe such thing!
definitely Yes,because it is just obvious in his actions he thinks that he is a hero and by that he is fighting against the windmill only to find out that by doing so he is hurting himself. Isn't it craziness?

Definitely yes, Don Quixote is an insane kind of a person. If he's not insane, he can already evaluate his surroundings that what he has been fond of reading or what he already knew are already stuck through the ages, a mere imagination that is already marked in the history of the world.

For me I can say that Don Quixote is totally insane because he some thought that is really different from the reality, he was really influence from the many books that he was reading, he have a lot of imagination that really impossible. But I think he is a good man because his vision is to help others.
Christine Paner MWF 8-9:00
well in my own perspective Don Quixote is insane. he fantasize a lot, most of the time actually. he was overcome by his false belief and imagination that reality and fantasy merged into one.
