Triolet on Tinago

Tinago Falls Made Me Feel Brandnew

How great is my happiness, I have seen something new,
Tinago falls your very lovely,
What a beautiful view!
How great is my happiness, I have seen something new.
Tinago falls you made me feel brandnew,
Your beauty should be seen by many.
How great is my happiness, I have seen something new,
Tinago falls your very lovely.

Petrarchan Poem

Maria Cristina Falls

Seeing Maria Cristina falls was my first time.
The fieldtrip is really worth it,
And I am blessed to be part of it.
It never wasted my time.
I want to go back there if I have time.
Bring my family and all the foods I want to eat,
Something like we’re having a picnic.
How I wish that I have all time.

Seeing this creation made me feel God’s love,
That He loves us unconditionally.
In spite of all the sins we have,
He showers His love to us, eternally.
Thank You, Lord for the wonderful and beautiful creation
And for the love without any condition.

Dili pa huyang ang among kalawasan.
Puslan man!

Nangita man diay ug kalibanganan.

Kung giunsa to nila paghimo atong ato kataasa?
Sa among pangutana wala may makatubag,
Pagpahulagway nalang among giatupag.

Parihas nako.
Tungod kay ako dili mutuo nga akong lawas dako kaayo,
Niuban nalang ko.

Sulod sa kweba, ako kaluhaon na,
Pastilan mang ngitngita.
Ug usa pa namong problema,
Ang ang flashlight usa ra, hinay pa gyud musiga.

Sa dihang sa kweba nakagawas na,
Silang Kim nangita pa gyud ug laing kweba.
Sa kahibulongan nga among gibati,
Dili namo mapugngan ang mungisi nalang permaninte.
Dili pod mi ninyo masisi ky nahibulong man gyud mi.

Nasudlan man ug tubig akong dunggan, sakit kaayo sa ulo.
Huhuhu…

Sa Crystal Inn,
Mga kabuang nagpabilin
Inom didto, inom junhims.
“Maanad ra man diay ta ani”, matud pa ni Kim.

Asta man gayong nindota, mamang!
Busog kayo among mata.
Kapoy man ang palugsong ug pasaka,
Halos mahutdan man ug ginhawa,
Okay lang, asta man pong sulita.

Sa MSU-IIT, among nakita ang angay namong makita,
Madungog ang angay nga maduggan,
Matun-an ang angay makat-unan.
Salamat Sir Tibo Fernandez, you are the man,
With brilliant mind!

Sa among pagpauli, isa ra among gipangandoy.
Gusto kami nga sa Ketkai magsuruy-suroy.
Ug natuman gyud among gusto
Salamat gyud kaayo.

Ang byahi kapoy gyud kaayo,
Pero sulit gyud kaayo.
Ma’am ug Sir, salamat sa inyo.
Nalingaw gyud mi pag-ayo.

Dako akong pasalamat sa Ginoo,
Sa Iyang pag-uban ug paggiya kanato.
Ug naabot kita sa Musuan safe kaayo.
Salamat gyud Ginoo.
Ang byahi sulit kay Ikaw niuban man kanamo

english 44 final poetry analyses

There is a saying about virtue:
She nestles in rough untroden rocks
And reigns a divine, sacred land.
Not all mortals can see her.
Only those,
whose burning desire in their heart
leads them to the greatest deeds

Poet of the Day

Earlier, i mentioned about my class' Poetry Night. I have asked them to give me copy of their poems and had asked their permission so i can post it on my spot. My first poet is Ruth Napone Roble. She is a proud mother of a cute little boy who is both smart and playful. get to know her better through the poems that she had written for our class.

the poem that follows is her bio-poem:

Ruth
Rebellious,Understanding,Thoughtful,Happy
Daughter of Peter and Inday Roble
Lover of food, nature and family
Who feels excited when it's time to go home, panicked when the son is sick, so happy when the son gives a hug and a kiss
Who gives love, care and friendship
Who needs you, them and everybody
Who fears without God, without nothing to fear and without nothing to eat
Who would like to see the mythical octopus in Tinago, James Bond and the white lady in Balete Drive
Who lives in the land of organic rice, Brgy. Tongantongan; situuted in the City of Golden Harvest, Valencia City; located at the town of beautiful faces, Bukidnon
Roble

This one is her triolet about Tinago falls:

400 STEPS

Four hundred steps,
A paradise within
Excitement leaps,
Four hundred steps.
Nature keeps
Away from sin,
Four hundred steps,
A paradise within.

Her Italian Sonnet about Initao:

MYSTERIOUS

Before and after,
Horror and beauty,
Myth and reality.
Forget the fear,
More to hear.
Cure the insanity,
Love nature's creativity,
Now and forever
Sea and waves,
Caves and stones,
Trees and leaves,
Chill the bones.
See and don't be hasty
Enjoy the mystery.

Her Visayan Narrative Poem:

LAAG UG ANG NAKAPLAG

Bisan tood ug ga ulan- ulan
Padayon lang gihapon sa pagdagan

Ang bus pirting goota
Hasta na noong gin- ota
Apan kami wala mataranta
Sa among mga banko ga kanta- kanta

Sa El Salvador
Una mi nag tour
Divine Mercy Shrine
Grabe ang pagka shine
First time nako didto
Pero napa wow jud ko
Tsada kaayong mga adorno
Palibot sa dakong rebulto.

Sunod namomg gihunongan
Lugar nga murag kalasangan
Daghan kaayo kag kahinaman
Mga gasa sa kinaiyahan.
Gitoohan nga lugar sa mga wakwak
Apan kami wala nagpalibak
Sa dagat ug langub mi nga lingaw- lingaw
Didto sa lugar nga gitawag nilag Initao

Ug sa dihang naa nami sa Iligan,
Nanglingi ang mga tawo sa kadaplinan
Nahibulong sa gapanon nga sakyanan
Nga gikan sakabukiran.

Ma. Cristina Falla ang destinasyon
Naa pay gard nga murag sapoton
Pero bisag sa ganghaan natanggong
Sulit ang panan awong gaagligdong
Ang tubig astang suloga
Ang busay astang taasa
Kung wala kadto nga gasa
Kuryente pirting mahala.

Paghuman sa busay
SA bus mibalik ug sakay
Lahos dayon sa Timoga
Aron mawala ang ka duka.
Salom didto, dalom diri,
Tisngi didto, tisngi diri
Kalipay nga dili kabayran
Kauban sa mga kahigalaan.

Apan pagbati ug kagutom
Wala tawon mi magdahom
Kamahal sa palaliton
bisan na lamang ang kan on.
Ning adto mi sa centro
Walo mi sa grupo
Bitbit among mga bagahe
Mura mig gipalayas nga aplikante.
Nangita mig mkan an
Nga sulti sa tiyan
Paghuman sa lapangan
Dritso sa katulganan.

SAkay sa sikad
Crystal Inn and palad
Pagkakita sa amoa
Gi-welcome jud mig pina bongga.
Grabe jud among hinanok
Sa mga habol ga ok-ok
Pagkabuntag namahaw
Itlog ug bangus ang gipatilaw.

Sa andam na ang tanan
Tinago amao ng giadtoan
Excited na kaayong mga taga- Musuan
Nga motan aw sa ginatagoan.
Tood manpaga nindot
Ang Ginoo wala jud mag inot
Ka tsada sa palibot
Matag minuto gidaginot.
Apan didto mi ngaluya
SA hagdan nga pirting taasa
Pirti kaayong pungaha
Ang mga ilong ga siga-siga.

Human sa adventure
Didto mi sa mansion galore
Ang balay ni Gloria
Astang pagka sosyala.

Human didto,
Dali- dali kaming miadto
Pabalik sa centro
Aron maminaw sa usa ka maestro.
Si Sir Tibo Fernandez
Doctor siya sa Humanities
Maalamon kaayo nga tawo
Bow jud kaayo ko
Dagan kaayo siyag gidalit
Dli man unta siya poet
Naay pay taga IPAG
Nga grabe makapangalampag.

Mihawa mi sa IIT
NGa dgahan kaagi
Labaw pa sa laag
Kaalam ang nakaplag.

Goodbye Iligan
Welcome Cagayan
Hapit sah mi sa shopinganan
Aron naay handomanan.

Mibiya mi nga malinawon
Sa sulod sa bus nanihapon
Naay ga kanta-kanta
Samtang ang uban natulog nga ga nganga

Alas- dose sa kagabhion
Ang CMU amoa ng galantawon
Pagkanao sa bus
Iya- iya na ug tipas.

And those are some of her poems written in our class.

*** Thank you, Ruth for sharing your poems with us:-)
