Andromache is the most interesting epic character because she shows the real picture of a brave woman.Bading goodbye, being left with your son... s bleeding heart, a scar to heal , a life to face. In this situation we are not only dealing with man to man combat, but it is also a battle within a womans heart. A scene that is hard to vanish, because seeing your man defeated and killed is like crashing ones heart and totally being killed inside.

My most interested woman character is Griselda. We all know by now that sometimes women are under the words of men. We follow what they say and want they want. In the case of Griselda, she takes all the risk and pains that she had encountered. If I will be in her part I cannot survive. Griselda stands as a model for us. That, no matter how under controled we are, we must be brave and remain faithfull with our selves because not all failures that we are facing are barriers or a storm or a disater, sometimes it's just a test to measure our patience, faithfulness and strength that we have. Just like what does her husband did.

I would rather choose Penelope as the most interesting female epic character in the sense that she had showed the real meaning of woman's bravery and loyalty. Where in fact, she knew that her husband Odysseus might not come back to the land of Ithaca for so many reasons such as Odysseus might be dead already or decided to live with another girl. But then she's still waiting hoping and praying that Odysseus would really coming back.

I choose Griselda as the most interesting female epic character because she was obedient and devoted to her husband Gualtieri. She is so gracious and kind even Gualtieri put her patience to the proof by prolonged intolerable usage. Believing her that their children was put to death and He could no longer bear to live with Griselda.
Griselda in her patience accepted everything even she was hurt so much and finally Gualtieri realized that there was never another woman in the world who would have done so much sacrifices for him except her.

The most interesting female epic character is the only courageous woman Penelope because even for how many years that Odysseus didn't go back home but she really trust her husband and believes that her husband would come back.. She is willing to be patient and waits his husband.. Even if she plan to marry other men but she tries to believe the beggar even it looks an old person..I like her character because even for how many years longing for her husband, she didn't plan to kill herself.. She is a strong woman, has a good personality and a great model that every woman in the world would imitate her abilities..

For me, it was Helen the most interesting female epic character, because she played a big role in the story in which the men where she clings to had certainly denied themselves for them to have Helen. Thus,Helen causes the cupidity of both parties between Paris and Menelaus and so does the arising war.Hence, Helen had showed that as a woman, possessing a striking character and beauty that men could not resist and show their back could change something into a worst one.

Well, I guess I am interested with Helen’s character in the story of Iliad written by Homer wherein she had open me in a long winding process of thinking why she left Menalaus for Paris. She, the lady who has been given whatever what the world could give, had picked trouble by eloping with Paris. There are many more pleasures that the world could offer, why pick trouble? Was it really for love or just boredom with the bountiful wealth and riches of this world? She had left me wondering why she chooses what she had chosen. There must be some mysterious and deep reason that might be unraveled in the story itself, continuing to understand the characters way of portraying its role, in that way, we might as well learn from she had done to her life.

In relation to the question, the most interesting female epic character for me is Cassandra in Iliad, because of her ability to predict the future or presaging something to happen. Her character as a prophetess in Iliad is very interesting because of her in tensions to save the Trojans, the city Troy, and specially her family. And because she continued her predictions even she's already in prison and even she's treated as an insane woman. for me, if only King Priam and her family listen to her, perhaps troy will continued its richness and fame. The most interesting female epic character for me is Dido, her love for Aenas in particular.
She was one clear proof how love can push anyone to their insanity. She was care free whether she might stain her status as a queen; offered all her wealth; body ; the every bit of her; she was willing to give and give up whatever love requires just for her to be with someone whom she love.
I was wondering, could this really happen in real life? Thinking for someone more, leaving yourself with no concerns? Well, she was just following her heart but by being obedient to it has deprived her from everlasting happiness. It was really painful I guess, just to think, by the time she has given up her all, done the bestest she could do still, she was left alone. How hopelessly unhappy could she be. She ended her life because she cannot withstand the sorrow Aenas caused her. Their love begun sweetly and ended bitterly, I think Dido had realized it was too good to be true.

For me, the most interesting female epic character is Griselda because I salute for her patience, love and loyalty for her husband and not any women nowadays can do the same thing as she did, no women can ever bear those sufferings and sacrifices. I was very interested on how Griselda lived and bear those miseries and on how she suppress her feelings and remained strong and faithful to her husband or the king despite of all the pain he had caused her.

For me, the most interesting female epic character was Penelope, I was amazed by her everlasting faith to her husband, odyseus. What she did had shown how some women would really sacrifice even for a long period of time just to show their faith and love to the person they were committed in their entire life. We could really see and prove that distance doesn’t really matters a lot when it talks about love as long as you have faith to the person, it will grow bigger and it will produce trust that is essential to have a good relationship.

For me, Andromache is the most interesting female epic character. I just couldn’t imagine how painful it is to see your loved one being killed in front of you and you’re helpless and can do nothing at all. Andromache is indeed very strong for she really helped herself to still be hopeful even her husband, Hector, is already dead for she knew that her son still needs her. A strong woman and a great wife and mother is embodied in the character of Andromache.

Among the epic, the most interesting woman character was Penelope. She had sacrificed a lot waiting for her beloved husband Oddyseus. For how many years of waiting, she was so patient enough. It's so unusual nowadays for a wife to wait for her husband for more or less than 10-20 years without a clear communication. It might be so seldom to know that a wife is waiting for her husband patiently , just as Penelope's situation.

i choose Circe. i like her resistance to men by putting them into a spell to transform them into swine. not that im feminist but i love the thought of a woman who is commonly regarded as weak to have the power where men cant overcome. being strong for a woman is hard for many for we were usually regarded as lesser human specie unable to defend ourselves, unable to stand alone. but her example says that we women can stand without men and be happy.
