The love of Hector and Andromache is exemplary.It is a love that is both tested by time and space (the proximity of lovers who are very near each other yet thousand miles separated due to their duties in their country, Troy).It would have been so difficult to see a loved one fight for dear life and it might be so painful to fight for dear life while knowing your loved one is seeing your defeat. Hector and Andromache had such many pain over their relationship because Hector has the very important duty for the sake of Troy. Andromache is such brave for taking part sadness and pain in seeing her husband fought with one of the bravest warrior and seeing Hector suffer a lot just to take the Troy in its highest place but sadly Hector fails and it caused for Andromache longing physically, emotionally and spiritually to Hector and it would be forever.

Love? Though felt it everywhere but i really don't know about it.I did felt infatuation but not love. The love im talking in here is between man and woman of course. But though ignorant of it, yet not innocent i have opinion about it too specially in the case of Hector and Andromache. When Hector held his son and raise him up praying to Zeus to protect the child, i shamelessly cried (to think im in the reference section). The knowledge that his son will be killed at the end, ache my heart. When the Troy was at last on fire and that Astyanax was taken from his mother to be thrown in the wall as the last sacrifice, i pity Andromache to the max. She had enough with her family's death and of her husband, but his son!
Hector and Andromache's last conversation in the wall show the love the bloomed between them in their whole marriage life. The known death of Hector tore her heart, but its just more hard to know that she cant even do something about it even if she begs. Duties and responsibilities lead to Hector's death. And the most painful of all, Andromache watched as Achilless without mercy kill her husband. What a grieving hear she had that day, but she have to be strong even if she lost everything.

It is really painful for the girl, that the one she love is fighting and were killed in front of her, and of there thousand army. But she had to accept the reality that the journey of her love is to be defeated by someone who is stronger than him.

Indeed,so true that it is very difficult to see your loved one being defeated and the cause of his death was to protect his loved one too.
Truely, Hector and andromache really loved each other.Hector being gifted with skills, and in his prowess awaits a lot of duties and responsibilities to take care of.being a wife, Andromache gives her full support and understanding about Hector's destined role in the kingdom.In the end hector's willingness to die defending thier kingdom and his loved one in thier will most matter than die together with them doing nothing,.

With understanding, compassion, and tenderness he explains that he cannot personally refuse to fight, and comforts her with the idea that no one can take him until it is his time to go.

These couple really strikes my heart, who could forget the parting scene of them,(Andromache carrying their child while Hector telling goodbyes).
That scene did an impact to the audience, with teary eyes & frown on their face.For their love is so true and too bad Hector died later that moment.
Indeed,their love is very inspiring though Hector didn't live longer unlike Andromache,still Andromache holds on to the idea that her husband love them so much,and she should understand that her husband is a warrior that has pride and honor to fight for even if its life is at risk.

Hector is one of this example because he know his country(troy) he is willing to sacrifice himself to save and to defend Troy ,and also to fight for his family.Because of this Andromache understand the situation.

Distance relationship is very hard, but it is more hard if the of you are so near but yet so far especially if both you saw the safering of each other.
It is hard to fall in love to a person who have lots of responsibilities like what Andromache felt.

for me, when true love feels, it is very difficult for a lovers to decide when you are dealing with the situation. Hector loves Andromache very much but Hector has an important duty, and in order to protect troy and his family, hector sacrifice coz he love his motherland and family especially his wife and his son.
the love of hector and Andromache is an example of a true and everlasting love..

Andromache is a great wife. She understand his husband, even though it is hard for her. I can say that it's not easy to be Andromache, it is painful in her part to see her husband fighting. She really love her husband. Love is not selfish.

Hector and Andromache are both bind with true love and affection,they showed unconditonal love with each other eventhough they had such many pain over their relationship because Hector has a very important duty for the sake of Troy.Andromache is really a great wife for understanding Hector that he has the responsibilities on protect the Troy..It was such a great love,bravery,passion and devotion towards each other which i think is no visible in our time.

Having a great responsibility sometimes is the barrier in a relationship.One's life is in the midst of trials.There are no enough time to spend yourself with your loved one.Hector did his greatest duty for he the great warrior of Troy.
